Glad to see your photos. Yelapa hasn't changed too much. Last time I stayed there it was about 50 pesos a day for a palapa with no walls. Way cool. I was there a week and when I came back to civilization, I almost felt like Rip Van Winkle......fun and different place.........

I'm glad you did Craving Adventure, as it is the reason I googled you and discovered this blog. Thanks for the entertainment and enlightenment.

That is exactly right, D.

Bali, Isla, Sea of Cortez - they all 3 sing my name most days...

Timing is everything -- so, so true. Also not being afraid to jump on an opportunity when you see one.

Got back from a week on Isla Mujeres recently. It's changing fast, but still managing to retain its Mexican charm... thankfully. Cochinita Pibil, empenadas and tamales from street vendors, dinner at Lolo's... my God, that place has some GREAT food. I'm already dreaming about our next trip. Even though I love to explore new places, sometimes you just want to go somewhere you know... ya know?
